Extra Image Creation tips
Tip #1
Ask it to act as a Famous Artist – If you read our article on Expert prompting, this strategy may sound familiar – You can get higher quality or specifically styled images out of Midjourney by prompting it use the style of a famous artist
Ex: The Prompt “A skyline drawing of New York City in the style of Vincent Van Gogh” yielded the following:
Pretty Incredible.
Tip #2
Use the buttons provided after generating an image to further refine. After image generation you will be see the following buttons that correspond to the 4 images provided
the “U” row refers to “Upscale”
the “V” row refers to “Variation”
And the number correspond to the images starting top left
1 | 2
3 | 4
So U2 will generate an upscaled version of the top right image
This allows you to iteratively create and refine with Midjourney, never be satisfied with the first result you get
Tip #3
Edit the prompt directly by turning on Remix mode. Simple use the/settings command and click on “Remix Mode’. Now when you use one of the Variation Buttons, you’ll get the following dialogue box
This lets you maintain the previous context but enter a new prompt to alter the existing image
